- November 1st - All Saints Day
Solemnity celebrated on the first of November. It is instituted to honor all the saints, known and unknown, and, according to Urban IV, to supply any deficiencies in the faithful's celebration of saints' feasts during the year.
- December 8th - The Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary
This feast emphasizes primarily the extraordinary fullness of grace granted to Mary in the first moment of her conception. We likewise celebrate her exalted prerogative of being the only person who through the merits of Jesus Christ was preserved from every stain of original sin.
- December 25th - Christmas
This one line is the entire Christmas story. The entire message of the birth of Christ. The Word, God's fullness, the second Person of the Trinity, sent by God as a message, the message of love and goodness and God's real presence in the world, sent to dwell in flesh, sent to be human, to live among us and speak our language so that we might receive Him and understand what God wants us to hear from God.
- January 1st - The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God
On New Year's Day, the octave day of Christmas, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Holy Mother of God. The divine and virginal motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a singular salvific event: for Our Lady it was the foretaste and cause of her extraordinary glory; for us it is a source of grace and salvation because "through her we have received the Author of life"(127).
- 40 days after Easter - Ascension Thursday
Forty days after Easter, Christians commemorate Jesus' ascension into heaven.
- August 15th - The Assumption of Mary
This feast has double meaning (1) the happy departure of Mary from this life, and (2) the assumption of her body into heaven.
